Chocolate Covered Banana Popsicles {Peel the Love}

This post is sponsored by Dole Banana Peel the Love “Banana Cabana” Tour. What is Peel the Love you ask? Peel the love is a year-long Dole campaign that celebrates the fun, irreverence and whimsical side of bananas and other tropical fruit. They will be traveling from coast-to-coast and stopping at over 26 cities across the country from Memorial Day through Labor Day partying it up with your favorite yellow fruit! You can find out the closest tour stop to you HERE and make sure to stop by for an experience that lets you peel like a kid again, including yummy samples, free recipe cards, giveaways, coupons and more! Our little peanuts of course are big time lovers of bananas and we eat them pretty much on a daily bases. We wanted to share with you a fun banana recipe that is perfect for summer! Chocolate covered banana popsicles have been around for a long time and we didn’t think of this idea but we forget how delicious these popsicles are and how easy they are to make so we wanted to remind you all of this idea as well! Even better is that these popsicles can also double for a great indoor activity to do with your kiddos. Let them help put the popsicle sticks into the bananas, melt chocolate bark or chips in the microwave and let them help dip the banana sticks. To finish them off, sprinkle with your favorite toppings {our faves are sprinkles, nuts and coconut!} and place them in the freezer for the perfect cool treat… it’s also pretty healthy too!
