Healthy Fruit Popsicles

We couldn’t be more ecstatic to say that summer is officially here! The pools are now open and it’s time to have some fun in the sun! Today we are sharing the perfect + healthy summer treat for your little peanuts! These fruit popsicles are delish and couldn’t be easier to make! With only a few simple ingredients and items needed you are sure to refresh your little ones on those hot summer days! This recipe is so great because you can’t mess it up and you can use any type of fruit you want or have laying around. Make the popsicles in the morning and they will be ready for an afternoon treat for your little peanuts!

 

WHAT YOU NEED:

– Popsicle/craft sticks
– 3 oz plastic cups
– 1lb carton strawberries
– 1lb seedless watermelon
– 1 can (20 oz) pineapple chunks
– 4 kiwis
– Orange juice or pineapple juice

 

DIRECTIONS:
Chop all of the fruit up into small chunks and mix them all together in a bowl. Fill each mini plastic cup with fruit mixture. Pour the fruit juice of your choice into the cups until full. Insert the popsicle stick. Let them freeze for a few hours {3-4} and once they are frozen run the plastic cup under hot water for a few seconds to loosen the cup. Wiggle the popsicle and it should pull right out of the cup. Makes 12-14 popsicles.
