We all know the saying “less is more” meaning that a minimalist approach to artistic or aesthetic matters is more effective. When it comes to interior design we are totally on the minimalist train and love to see how others use this philosophy in their design approach. Robin with Twenty/Venti is sharing her daughter, Ramona’s, nursery with us. Robin is a twenty-something daydreamer, wife, mother and preschool teacher living in the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario, Canada.
“I drew most of the inspiration for our daughter’s nursery from Waldorf and Montessori educational philosophies. The idea that everything has a place, is easily accessible to encourage independence, and to be surrounded by natural materials. We kept things white and minimal to make the small space not look to busy or crowded. It’s my favourite room in our home because we’ve put the most intention and care into it.”
