Sweet Little Peanut 4th of July BBQ

When we think of summers as little kids one of our favorite memories is spending time with our families on the 4th of July. This magical holiday is really what summer is all about – fun in the sun, BBQ’s and of course fireworks! If you are planning an Independence bash for your little peanuts we have some super cute + totally easy to replicate ideas to share with you today!

You can quickly create the perfect patriotic setting by adding a striped fabric table runner to your picnic or dinning table. Use lanterns or jars to hold wild flowers or even flags for centerpieces. If you are looking for great place settings you can use every year we are loving the Navy Cambria Bowls + Plates from Pottery Barn Kids!

For grub you can make an easy red, white and blue fruit salad! To really take it to the next level and wow your little party guests use a mini star cookie cutter to cut out star shaped watermelon bites! To drink we love cherry limeades garnished with a maraschino¬†cherry! French fries are a must to accompany your hamburgers… try mini hamburger sliders with a flag on top! Finish off the party with a cool treat! Check out our homemade snow cone recipe we shared on PBK’s blog HERE!

We hope this 4th of July party has inspired you to have a great celebration with your families! We would love to know what your favorite Independence Day BBQ dishes are your fave to serve!

Please, where did you get that table? I’ve been looking everywhere for one for my daughter and they are all too small but that one you have looks perfect!

Hi Amanda! We just added the sources for the table + chairs and the other items in the images at the bottom of the post in the sources section!
