Meet Lindsey Pinegar {Products We Love}

Good morning and happy Monday! We are kicking this week off with another “Products We Love” feature! We have really enjoyed getting to know so many cute moms a little bit better and we love to share them with you! Today we are featuring one seriously cute family, the Pinegar’s! You can get to know more about them over on their blog, Our Happiness Tour. They share some of the cutest photos of them being real, enjoying life and each other… which is what we are all about! We just adore Lindsey’s style and how darling are her little peanuts, Gracie Belle {3} and Maddie Mae {21 months}?! Check out Lindey’s round-up of their favorite baby and children’s products below. Do you use any of these products and love them as well? We want to hear!

1.     Melissa and Doug Trunki – We are a family who loves to travel.  I live for finding products that ease the stress of the airport bustle, and our Trunki does just that.  Gracie Belle loves being able to pack her toys in the suitcase, and I love that it’s roomy enough for all her treasures.  People get a kick out of seeing her ride on it throughout the airport waving like she’s in a parade.  It fits underneath the seats or in the overhead compartments on planes.
2.     Mercy Watson Books – As an aspiring children’s author, books top my list as more than just a great thing to have, they’re a necessity.  Kate DiCamillo’s Mercy Watson book series is one of my all time favorites.  Mercy Watson books are early chapter books, perfect for a week long bedtime story.  Gracie loves to listen to Mercy’s adventures and Maddie is fixated with the pictures.  We love that Mercy’s favorite snack is hot buttered toast, just like Gracie!  Kate DiCamillo’s writing is clever and entertaining, for both children and adults.  I’m already looking forward to reading her novel, Because of Winn-Dixie, to my girls when they’re a little older.
3.  Patagonia for Kids – I love, love, love this jacket for Maddie!  It’s lightweight and thin, but keeps her warm.  She has the light aquarium color, which is lighter in person.  I will definitely be sticking with Patagonia for warm winter coats.
4.     Baby Food Packets –  Our Maddie is not a fan of vegetables, we have struggled to get her to eat one serving a week.  We couldn’t live without Ella’s Kitchen baby food packets.  Easy and clean and perfect for on the go, they’ve been a lifesaver more than once.  I love that they’re organic, with no artificial fillers or favors and no sugar added.  Maddie is 21 months old and still loves to eat them- her favorite is broccoli, pears and peas in the green pack.
5.     Dr. Brown’s Bottles – Dr. Brown’s bottles are an absolute miracle.  When Maddie was 6 weeks old she developed awful acid reflux.  Feeding her was a nightmare, she spit up, swallowed too much air and was showing every sign of colic.  After a recommendation from a friend I switched her bottles, after one feeding we noticed a difference, and after a couple days she was a new baby altogether.  The Dr. Brown’s baby bottle features a patented internal vent system, with a positive-pressure flow, similar to breastfeeding, which allows babies to feed at their own pace.  They do have five separate parts to the bottle, but they’re all top rack dishwasher safe.
6.     Zara Shoes – Leopard loafers?  Studded flats? I couldn’t love Zara shoes more.  Some of my most favorite items in our girl’s closet are from Zara and I’ve been so impressed with the quality.  Our girls have been known to hammer a pair of shoes in one afternoon at the playground, but their Zara shoes have withstood months and months of play.
7.     Lou and Lee Hair bows – Lou and Lee are my favorite hair bows!  With great fabrics and an option for clip or headband, they’ve been the perfect finishing touches for all our outfits!
8.  B. Toys, the Woofer – Really any of the B You toys have been a huge hit in our house…but especially this guitar.  When we add the cat piano the girls have quite the rockin’ band.  While our ears may hurt 5 minutes into the concert, we love seeing the girls dance and get into the music!
9.     Target Holiday Dishes  – We are all about celebrating holidays in our house.  One of my favorite traditions is buying a set of holiday dishes for our girls.  They’re something to get the girls excited about upcoming holidays and help make Gracie’s chore of setting the table a little more fun.  Target’s current Valentine’s collection is by far the best.  Plates, bowls, glasses, snack cups and silverware that all coordinate.  Some of the collection is online, but make sure you check in store for additional items.
10.     Cotton On Kids Leggings – My girls live in leggings, especially when we’re hanging around the house.  I love Cotton On Kids leggings- they’re very soft and come in great patterns- I’ve found polka dot, striped, floral and my current favorite, a pastel Aztec print.  Online they’re listed for $12.95, but they are regularly $5 in store.

    cutest family! We love the baby food packets too! They are great for on the go and when I’m cooking dinner, I can just give one to my 9 month old and she can feed herself.
